Our firm is made up of professionals of different nationalities, with the common characteristic that all of them are fluent in at least three languages and they all have international academic or professional experience. Likewise, this multiculturalism allows us to approach our international clients from a naturally open and flexible mindset.

Working as a team and due to our size, we are able to be agile and efficient in the performance of our work and fulfilment of the indicated objectives, guaranteeing that the client has the possibility to communicate at any time with a member of the legal team working on their case with an immediate response to their communications.

Born in Vic (Barcelona) in 1966. He studies Law at the Abad Oliba Foundation and the faculty of Law, graduating from the University of Barcelona in 1989. In September 1990, with a scholarship from the Foundation of La Caixa and the British Council, he is admitted to the Queen Mary and Westfield College, at the University of London, where in 1991 he obtains a master’s degree in International Business Law (LLM). He also gained a master’s degree in Urban Planning Law at the Abad Oliba Foundation and graduated from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona in Arbitration Law (1993). In 1991 he joins the Madrid office of the law firm Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, later practising in Barcelona. Between 1993 and 1995 he resides in Japan where he collaborates as a foreign associate lawyer in the Tokyo law firm, Nagashima, Ohno & Tsunematsu. In 1995 he returns to Barcelona, where he resumes his position with Gómez-Acebo & Pombo until 1997, when he founded the law firm VILÁ ABOGADOS.

Born in Barcelona in 1968, she studies a Law degree at the University of Barcelona, graduating in 1991. In 1992 she undertakes a “placement” for 6 months at the representative office in Barcelona of the EEC, General Directorate X, Information, Communication and Culture. During 1992 and until 1994 she attends a course at the Centre for International Studies (Centro de Estudios Internacionales – CEI) in Barcelona for the preparation of competitive examinations for entry into the diplomatic corps. At this time she also has the opportunity to attend a Master’s degree course in International Relations at Saint John’s College, Cambridge University, in England. In 1994 and 1995 she joins the international commercial law department of the German law firm DR. SCHELLER, HOFMEISTER UND PARTNER, in Braunschweig, Germany.

From 1996 until 2003 she joins the civil and procedural law department of the firm JUAN RIBALTA Y ASOCIADOS S.L., in Barcelona. In parallel, during 2002 and 2003 she pursues the first year of a doctorate programme at the Department of Commercial, Labour and Social Security Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona. From 2004 until 2012 she joins the procedural and commercial department of AGM ABOGADOS, S.L., in Barcelona. During 2012 and 2013 she joins the insolvency department of JAUSAS LEGAL Y TRIBUTARIO, in Barcelona. From October 2013 until March 2020 she forms a part of the commercial department of ROSS LGL S.L., in Barcelona.

Born in Wakayama, Japan in 1988. He graduated from Keio University Law School and passed the Japanese Bar Examination in 2013. He is a member of the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association. After working at a law firm in Japan, he joined a law firm in Mexico City in 2020, where he mainly provided legal services to Japanese companies in Mexico. He joined Vilá Abogados in 2023.

Born in Barcelona in 1997. Law degree from the Pompeu Fabra University (2020), including an academic stay at the Universiteit Antwerpen of Belgium. Having carried out internships with diverse law firms in Barcelona, he joins Vilá Abogados in autumn of 2021 and a few months later obtains his Master of Law from the Open University of Catalunya (2022).
